Employee Giving to the Foundation Reaches Milestone!
The LRMC Foundation is proud to announce – “Twenty” years of employee giving!!! A remarkable $3,115,976.00 has been donated since our STARs (Sharing Together Achieving the Remarkable) employee campaign began in 1990!! Over the last twenty years, these dollars have funded programs, education activities and equipment for LRMC & LRCC.
The Foundation would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our employee donors. Because of the generosity and caring of hospital and cancer center employees, gifts to the Employee Giving Campaign for FY2010 totaled $266,719.25.
In appreciation of a generation of giving, the Foundation celebrated with special events during the last week in January. During these celebrations, we premiered our special employee video – starring our very own employee givers, our STARs! These STARs are members of the brand-new 320 Club in recognition of the $3 million received over the last twenty years.
We would also like to recognize and give a special thanks to the 46 employees who have given continuously since 1990 with gifts totaling over $161,319.00. Jeffrey Fullgraf, one of the 46 employees shares, “Giving to the LRMC Foundation is my way of expressing gratitude as an employee of LRMC as well as extending my participation in the exceptional healthcare that LRMC provides to my family, friend and community.”
